A genera! holiday has been proclaimed m the constituencies concerned. Exciting contests for the city seats are anticipated. The question of freetrade v. protection is j much complicated by the introdnction of the federation and labour questions. In s many cases the labour candidates decline j to discuss the fiscal policy.
