LABOUR TROUBLES.

The directors of the London General Omnibus Company and of tho Road Car Company refuse to confer with the men out on strike, and threaten, unless the offer of a fow daya a»o is accepted, to engage new hands, m which case they will not give employment to any of their old hands even although they may agree to accept the companies' terms. (Ecoeived 1 a.m., Jnno 13th.) June 12. The chairman of the London General Omnibus Company asserts that it would cost the company £167,000 a year to accede to the men's demands. The concessions which tho directors have offered to make to the men are equal to the Bum of £90,000 a year. Lord Mayor Savory is meditaiug m the dispute. Vienna, Juno 12. At a meeting to-night, reproeonting the City Council, trade societies, and citizens, and presided over hy the mayor, a committee was appointed to get up a demonstration m aid of tho fund for a memorial to Mr S. D. Parnoll, the originator of the eight hours system. The tone of tho meeting was decidedly hearty. Mr H. W. Potter, seoretary of the goneral committee, was present.
