Our contemporary further charges Mr Hedger Wallnco wilh placing B.So. after his name wilhout being untitled to do so. It states that Mr Wallaco was allowod to attend Profefsor Wallace's epocial class for rural tcach"r3 at Edinburgh University, and though after that ho attended tho spocial course at Kensington, yot io the examination which followed this latter courae, he only atood tenth m the socond class, or fifteenth m the order of merit, and that too m a clasß who had only got three weeks' drill m tho elementary principles of agricultural Bcionce. Mr Wallaco taught a class numbering three or four pupils for a brief period, and then disappeared from tho scene to appear m Viotoria, where he rapidly took the front rank ob a teacher of agricultural science. In a subsequent issue a correspondent [pointed out that tho wholesalo clipping from Professor Robort Wollaco is pleasantly varied with a few pages clippod without acknowledgment from Profeaaors Wrightaon and Fream, But the lecture is nono the lesa readable on that account.
