A few road car 3 Btarted yesterday morning but returned to the stables at mid-day. Despite the efforts of the police the traces of several of the busses which were running were cut, windows were smashed, and drivers were forced to return with their vehicles to the stables. Two of the busses were rushed by the crowd and overturned. Several of the strikers have been arrested for intimidation. Burns was among the number but he was subsequently released.
