The tailors who went out on strike have resumed work, pending a settlement with the masters, who it ia said are willing to make large concessions to the men. Ten thousand East End and Jewish tailors strike on Sunday. Tho Minors Conference sitting at Chesi ter has invited Australian and American i miners to join m an international i federation. Brisbane, May 30. 1 Fully fifteen hundred free labourers are now engaged by the pastoralists. (Eeoeived 5.30 p.m., May 31st.) New Yoek, May 30. The strike of cokemen at Scottdale, Pittaburg, haß collapsed, and those who j went out are m a terribly distressed condition. (Special to Press Association.) (Eeoeivea 11.10 a.m., May 30fch.) London, May 20. The Miners' Conference at Cheater reßolved to continue the agitation for legislation m favour of eight hours per day.
