Mnudell and Co., report sales for the week ended August 30th, 1890, as follows : — At Temuka sale on Wednesday, wo yarded 1241 sheep, 84 cnttlo, and 43 pips, and sold the whole of the sheep and pips, also abont twothirds of tho cattle, at tho following prices : — BHEBP. Cros3brod wethers and maiden fat ewes 163 sd. 16s 3d to 16s, crossbred fat ewes 10s 6d, crossbred eves m lamb lla 7d, call crossbred ewes m lamb 8s lOd, three-quarter-bred hoggets lls to 93 lOd. Steers and heifers (fat) .£6 lss, .£5 12s to £o, cown m forward condition .£4, cows springing nna m profit .£3 12s, £3 53, to .£2 17s «d, ilry cows £2 Ss to Je2, 2-year-old steers and heifers .£2 to £1 8s 6d, yearlings £1 17s 6d. PIGS. Porkers j£l to 17a, strong stores 15a Gd to los, weanors 7s 3d to 6s. CLEARING SALE. On account of Mr Adam Eae, who is leaving for the North Island, we held a clearine sale of live stock, implements, household fnrnitnro and effects. There was a largo attendance, and every lot sold at high prices. The competition was the keenest wo have experienced at any sale wo have yet held m the district.
