THE DERBY. (Per Eleotbio Telegraph— Copyright.) (Special to the Press Association.) (Received 1.25 a.m., June sth.) London, June 3. An Australian sportsman haa invested £5000 on Kirkham for the Darby. The latest betting is 1000 to 15 against him or 5 to 1 against his getting a place. The Sportsman considers that he is a stayer but too slow for the Derby. Surefoot is a strong favourite.
