At the annual meeting of the Chamber of Commerce, a motion was passed expressing approval with the proposed postal reduction to tho colonies. At Bradford Mr Cecil Raikos, Post-maater-Genoral, referred to Mr Benniker Heaton as a " fly on the wheel " and a3 Beekiug for notoriety m connection with tho popular cry, and added that his (Mr Heaton's) fooliah agitation for a furthor reduction of tho postal rates to one penny would prevent tho colonies accepting the Chancellor's (Mr Goachen's) proaent proposals.
