Adelaide, April 18 The latest news from Bourko is that the water is level Kith tho top of the embankment and the inhabitants are fighting it inoh by inch. Seveu miles of railway lino are now impassable. S'.oauiers ore waiting to carry off the defenders when the water bursts through tho embankment. (Received 3.30 p.m., April 18th.) Sydney, April 18. Tha town of Bourko ia still above water. The value of property at stake is estimated at one million sterling. (Bcceived 1.25 a.m., April 19th.) Information has been received that Bourke is flooded, and that everyone ia doing the best to save theni3elve3. Boats ore being pulled through tho] streets rescuing people from their homea. The night is very black and dark. No details are yet to hand. Walyett is m a terrible condition, and nn epidemic of fever i 3 feared owing to the stench arising from dead auiimate. '
