At a Bpecial meeting of the Seaman's Federated UnioD it wa3 decided to withdraw from the Maritime Conncil. It is alleged that tha latter body usurped tho executive's functions m trying to form a coasting seamen's union against the oxpressed desire of tho Seamen's Union. Any seaman adhering to the coastal union after Mny 17th, will bo for ever debarred from joining tho Federated Seamen's Union, and any who have already joined muat resign on pain of expulsion.
