RAUKAPUKA.
Tbo annual meeting of the members of the Raukspuka Liconsing Committee was held at the courthouse, Geraldine, on Wednesday list. Present— Messrs J. IX. Barker, W. B. Barker. A. Macdonsld, and Major Moore. Mr J. M. Barker wus elected chairman. The chairman read tho inspector's report on the licensod houses m the district, which was satisfactory m each instance except the Hilton hotel which needed painting on tho outside. Iho applications for renewals of the licenses of tho Star of tho South Hotel and Raogitata Bridge Hotel were granted. It was decided not to grant any condition^ license for the Eangitata Bridge Bacing Club. It was resoWed — " That the fees and .'conditions of Hconecß bo tho same as last year." It wa6 resolved — " That this court adjoorn till Saturday week to consider Mrs Tindall's application for renewal of license of the Hilton Hotel." The court then adjourned till that date.
