THE COLONIAL INSURANCE COMPANY.
4 (By Telkurapii.) WELLINGTON, May 15. At the annual meeting of the Colonial Insurance Company tins afternoon tho report and balance sheet already telegraphed were unanimously adopted. Tho shareholders generally epoko favourably of the company, except Mr Warnock, of Auckland, who said thnt tho Auckland shareholders were dissatisfied at tho company paying n o dividend for four years, and, therefore, thought that tho management was bad. Messrs J. Kirkcaldie and G. M. Kebbell were re-elected directors. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the directors and oilicers.
