Crowe and Charle3 Stuart, both Companions of the Bath, will ropresent England at the Samoan Conference. Mr Batea, one of the United States delegates to tho Samoan Conferenco at Berlin, contributes an article to tho May number of the Century magazine, m which he expresses strong anti-German tendencies iv respect to S:\moan atf.iiro. Bbklin', April '25. Tho Gorman Press are protesting against Mr Bates, of America, being one of the Samoan delegates, owing to his expressed feelings against Germany. Priuce Bismarck, however, has made no objection.
