GRAHAM & CO.'S Permanent Cure for Footrot (PATENTED). TO SHEEPOWNERS. NOW the Wool Market is firmer, and prices are ruling higher every day, SAVE YOUR SHEEP that would othorwise be worthless, at a cost of ONE HALFPENNY per HEAD. It has often been remarked, and is undoubtedly true, that the sheepowners' worst enemy is FOOTROT. Its effects are soon shown m the declining condition of the sheep and its wool, and although lately many scientific opinions have been expressed with regard to it m the public Press, there is no doubt that the so-called remedies there suggested have all been tried m these colonies, ending only m disappointment and failure, the result being that m using arsenic, vitriol, carbolic acid, and other things that are recommended, they have added fuel to the fire m burning the sheeps' feet altogether, and m most instances making them worse than before. With all deference to the opinions of these scientific men, our thirty years' practical (not theoretical) exEerience of sheep, and study of this quesHon, as led us to come to the conclusion that the CAUSES and NATURE of this disease are not understood, and up to the present time it has always been wrongly treated. We invite the publio to read the following testimonial, which shows that we CAN CURE FOOTROT for OVER TWELVE MONTHS, and this m a case where all other means had been tried and failed : — " Flaxton, June 28th, 1886. "Messrs W. Graham and Co., Southbrook. " Dear Sirs, — We have pleasure m stating that the sheep you dressed for us m May 1885, OVER TWELVE MONTHS AGO, have remained PERFECTLY SOUND on their feet ever since, and are still running on the SAME MARSHY SWAMP without Bhowing any signs of FOOTROT.— Yours faithfully, Wallace Bbos." We can also bring PROOF that we have not failed m any single instance to effect a COMPLETE CURE, even m the worst cases, where numbers of sheep have DIED EVERY YEAR. Our chief difficulty is to CONVINCE the public that thiß iB not one of the many spurious patent medicines which have from time to time been foisted upon them, but we trust the following disinterested testimonial to our Agents will set them right : — " Leslie Hillb, Culverden, " Juno 17th, 1886. "Messrs Matson, Buss and Co., Rangiora. " Dear Sirs,— l notice by the Standard that Graham and Co. are now offering their cure for footrot tor eale to tho public. I have always been very sceptical as to tho results of these patent cureß for diseases m =heep, of which we have had so many offered is of late. I am quite satisfied that if cfraham and Co. will only sell us the quality :l stuff as he ÜBed himself when working on footrot sheep m this district, there will be no necessity for Graham and Co. to go to Kimberley for some years. I have seen a good deal of the Montrose ramß these few years ; they were TERRIBLY BAD with footrot, and as Graham cured them with two dressings, I am NOW SATISFIED that a CURE for footrot HAS BEEN FOUND. I have never had any footrot on this property till the other day a few footrot sheep came m a mob of crossbreds from turnips. Please send mo at once a gullon of Graham and Co.'s Patent, to tho caro of 1) , and oblige. — Yours faithfully. Ditncan Rcthbbfobd." We can assuro the public that we have only one standard for our Preparation, and that is the BEST. It iB carefully manufactured from the best ingredients obtainable, and wo are determined to maintain its present popularity. Our terms are CASH — NO OCRE NO PAY. Price, 10s per gallon (sufficient to dreßS about 250 Bheep). We GUARANTEE to keep large stations entirely FREE from FOOTROT on the most reasonable annual terms. Wo are open to PURCHASE sheep afflicted with footrot, NO MATTER HOW BAD, thereforo do not have them destroyed, or allow them to die. For further particulars and additional testimonials as published m our circulars, apply to our Agents— Miles and Co., Christohurcli and Timaru ; Miles and Co., Christchurch and Tiuiaru ; MATSON, Buss and Co., Bangiora ; Matson, Cox and Co., Ashburton ; Jonas and Boubn, Timaru ; Db Lambert and Robinson, Oamaru ; JaUEBAr, Robebts and Co., Dunedin, or to Gbaham and Co., Southbrook, Ranuiorn..
