QUEENSLAND.
A serious outbreak of plouro-pneumonia has occurred among the cattle near Brisbane. The outbreak is said to have occurred m connection with some cows at the saleyards. The steamers Levora and Katoomba, which lately arrived from Sydney, encountered very bad weather. The former had Matter's circus on board, and three ponios succumbed to the injuries received m the storm. The Katoomba fared still wor3o, many of Ihe passengers being badly bruised, while one narrowly escaped being swept overboard. Out of eleven draught horaes on board nine were killed.
