AUCKLAND TRAINING NOTES.
Art'KCAND, Dec. 13. Some interesting work was done at Ellerslie thia morning. Nelson put m a Couple of serviceable rounds at half pace, going freely, and showing a disposition to extend himself. Tetford mado his appearance on the track, and his tnsk consisted m being Bent three times round at half pace. He showed no si^ua of laim— ness, and his absence from tho trick is said to have been caused through being slightly cast m his box. Cinderella and Lady Norah (m company) were eont twice round at a strong pace, and Turquoise and Derringer traversed the Cup distance at three-quarter p:\co. Derringer had bandages on his fore legs, and appeared snro at tho fininh. Kinyfish Wiia treated to two miles alone, goMin» over the ground m a taking style. Waitiri did half pace work, moving m a nice and free manner. Victoria, with bandages on her fore leg?, went twice round at half pace. Sha appeared to be very sore. Crutchfield did useful work jumping.
