THE Education Board of the District of South Canterbury hereby publicly notifies m occordonco with the provisions oE Section 61 of "The Education Act, 1877," that the following are the boundaries of the Rangitata Station, Opihi, Totara Valley and Mount Gay School Districts, and that the boundaries hitherto m force of the Opihi and Totara or Mount Gay Districts are hereby cancelled. BOUKDABIEB OF BANOITATA STATIOX SCHOOL DISTBICT : — Commencing on the South Bank of the river Rangitata at the old Railway Line Reserve : thence South- Westerly along that line to tho Southern Corner of Section 29019, and North-Westerly along the road forming the boundary of the same Section to the Main South Boad ; thence along the latter road to tho Southern Corner of Reserve 2142 and Nbrth-Westerly along the SouthWestern boundary of the same reserve, snd the line m continuation thereof to the intersection with the road forming the South-Eastern boundary of Section 28671 : thence m a straight line NorthWesterly to the intersection of the roada at the Eastern end of Section 82521 on the boundary of the Orari Bridge School District, and Northerly along the Eastern boundary of the came district, and its continuation on the Geraldine and Peol Forest Boad to the boundary of the Scotsburn School District ; thence along the latter boundary to the Rangitata River, and along tho Southern Bank of tho same river to the starting point.
