BRAVE RESCUE BY A SAILOR.
« (By Telegraph.) Waxgan'ui, Nov. 3. On Monday night a sailor named John Carnegie, cf tha schooner Owake Bell, rescued a lad named Tingey from drowning. The boy had fallen from the wharf and was just sinking when attention was called to the fact, and Carnegie jumped overboard just as he was, and succeeded in getting hold of the lad. When the boy was got ashore ho was soon restored.
