At the Timaru Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show, 1883, he took first prixe for the belt bred Clydesdale Stallion, r first prize for All-aged Stallions, and the ' Champion Prize against the field ; at the : Timaru Show m 1884 ho took first prize, and again m 1885 he, took second prize.
