THE NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY.
(By Telegraph.) Dunedin, Nov. 2. The report of the directors of the National Insurance Company shows the net premiums to have been £175,078 which, after making the usual provision for unearned premiums, leaves with last year's balance a mirplns of £15,882. The ten per cent, dividend absorbs £9805, and after providing for estimated loss on mortgages, £4326 is carried forward.
