Messrs J. Mundell and Co., auctioneers, Geraldine, report for the- week ended 30th October, ISStJ, n3 follows : — CATTLE. At the Company's yards, Waslulylco, on Tuesday, special sale, there was a largo entry of cattle yarded, m:ulo up principally of stores in low condition. Of our entries we sold the following: -4 heifers (fat) £6 12s Gd; 4 hend cows and steers, £t; two year-old steers and heifers, £3 5s ; 6 yearling ateers and heifers, £2 53. SHEIir3KIN3. At our rooms, Geraldinn, on Monday last, we disposed of a lar^e entry of crossbred and merino skins at t lie following rates: — ■ Butchers' crossbred, 2s 3d to 63 ; merino, 3s lOd ; farmers' crossbreds, 2j 3d to 3s 7d ; light and inferior, Is 6d to Is 9d ; merino Is 2d to Is Gd. Wool, locks and pieces, in bags, 6id per lb.
