The brigantine Peerless was doing fair ■work at the wharf yesterday. She will probably finish loading for Auckland about tomorrow or Thursday if. her cargo comes to hand in time. The s.B. Kawatiri arrived from Westport yesterday afternoon with a full load of coal for her agent, Air John Jackson. She was berthed at the outer wharf and immediately commenced discharging. She returns to Wesfcport to-night with produce.
