Beef all ,round_ may^bc waa "cleared without much trouble at these rates. There was only a moderate supply of fai sheep. The salea opened an improvement ou last week's pricea, and though some floatations occurred, an averago advaneo of quite Is n head was aecured. Some very prime mennc wethers sold np to 16a 9d, other very nice linos at 13a, crossbred wethers realised 22a Gd foi an exceptionally small lot, good wethers bringing from lCs to 20s, lighter, 133 to 15a. A Krand pen of shorn wethers brought lls 9d. Prime mutton was worth fnlly 3d ier lb, ordinary 2id, store crossbreda a shade over 2d. There was a good demand by bntehers, and a few lines wore also taken for freezing. There waß a very small entry of pigs. Some nice country porkera sold at full rates, aud aome heavier weights fetched ovor 3d per lb.
