Vice-President, Mr G. H. Rhodes, gives i cup, value £10, for tho best horse thn has hunted with any recognised pack The same to be entered m either clas 151 or 152. The Hunt Clubs of South Canterbury give prize of £5 6s for the best Light-weigh Hunter. Mr F. LeCren, on behalf of the N.Z. L. am M.A. Company, offers a Cup of the vulu £10 10s, for the best pen of not less thai twenty (20) Sheep m the wool, suitabl for freezing for export ; open to all Far mers not occupying or owning more thai 3000 acres of land, the Sheep to hay been bred and fattened by exhibitoj The Cup will not be awarded unless ther be at lenst six exhibitors, but it will b available for the same object at nex year's show. The Association offer a prize of £3 for thi best Automatic Chaff box, for feeding sheep, to hold not less than ten bags, t( be wind and water proof, and to be easil; movable. Mr James King offers a first and second pri* of £3 and £2 respectively, for the bes yearling colt or filly, by Quamby. Mr J. Ballantyne give* a prizo of £2 2s fo the best Jar of Salt Butter suitablo fo export. This exhibit same condition as for Potted Butter, must bo left witl the Secretary on or bofoi» Saturday September 25th. Mr J. Ballantyne gives a prize of £2 2s fo the beat Cheese suitable for export.
