Strong winds from tho N.W. wero experienced on tho 2nd and 3rd, withjheavy|ssag,and on the sth the weathor was very thick and dirty. At noon it was blowing a strong gale from the westward, with high •ea, and on the sth the weather was very sqnally, with strong S.E. winds. The morning of the 6th broke with strong S.W. winds and a heavy oroas sea. At 11 o'clock that night a «aa was Bhipped amidships, which oompletoly smu^ied tho boat over tbo main hatoh, and wikshdd away a portion of the port bulwarks. Tho gale continued all night, and the deck was constantly flooded. The weather moderated down tho next day. Light and variable winda wore then met with till noon on the Bth, when tho wind freshened up from the N.W. with rain. Sighted land at daylight on the Bth, and Tho Brothers light at 4 a.m. next morning, bearing S.S.W. Light and vsriablo winds on the rnn tip the coast, and atrong N.W. wind 3 till within 30 milea of port on the 13th. The Bells was berthed at the wharf, and goon afterwards commenced discharging.
