At the Timaru Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show, 1883, he took first prize for the beet bred Clydesdale Stallion, first prizo for All-aged Stallions, and the Champion Prizo againßt the field ; at tbo Timaru Show m 1884 ho took first prize, and again m 1885 he took second prize.
