Timaru Herald Office, Monday Evening. GERALDINE MARKETS. He3ar3 J. Mundoll and Co. roport sale 3 for tho week ondod Saturday, 2nd October, as follows : — SKINS. On Tuesday, at their salo rooms, Geraldino, they held their monthly skin sale, at which thero was a largo attendanco of tho trade, with keen competition for all lots submitted to auction. Every lino was cleared at prices satisfactory to vendors. Tho following is a quotation of tho prices obtained, viz., butchers' crossbred skins. ss, 5a 2d to 5s 4d; farmers' do, do, 33 Id to 3s 3d ; merino skins, Is 4d to 2a Gd. PRODUCE. Potatoes, 5a por sack ; carrots, (ja per sack ; ohiok wheat, 3s por bushel ; oats, 2a 3d per bnshel; bran, 7s per sack; sharps, 10s per sack ; bacon, 5d per lb ; onions, 5d per lb ; bono daat, 8s per cwt. ; best fino salt, Gs per owt.
