At the Timaru Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show, 1883, he took firstprize for thebest bred Clyde3dale Stallion, first prize for All-aged Stallions, and tho Champion Prize against the field ; at the Timaru Show m 1884 be took first prize, and again m 1885 he took second prize.
