PRODUCE MARKETS. The Canterbury Farmers' Co-oporativo Association, Limited, report for the week ended Ist mat. as follows :— . . Tho grain trade has lieen very quiet during the weok, and littlo export trade has taken place. Farmers have taken advantage of tho fine weather to push on with thoir sowing. Wheat has nothing special to report. Uuteido orders are limited, and any small farmers parcels are readily taken for local milling. Prime tnscan. and pearl remain at -H on ; hunters at 4s Id ; second quality vanes from 4s to 4s 3d ; chicken wheat is easily placed at from 3s 7d to 3s lOd. Oat3— A fow sales have boon made for shipment to Australia, but tho market is Itingmd, and prices have not improved. Milling is quoted at 2s 5d -, short feed, 23 3d to 2s 9d ; Danish and Tartars, 23 Id to 2a 2d. _ Barley has nothing fresh to note, and pricos are unchanged. . Beans and peas— Very few offerng, anU quotations are nominal. Beans, at 3a to <5s 3d ; bluo peas, 4s to 13 2d. Ryegrass has been moving off m small lots to farmers, but prices are weak. Machinedreaaed is being quit at 04 to 53 3d ; farmers parcols rango from -ts to Is 3d ; cocksfoot has not been very brisk at 4Jd to 4jd for bright heavy seed, and 3Jd for second quality. Potatoes havo again receded. Sydney advices being anything but bright, and the North Island ordora have been all completed. Wo cannot quoto moro than 353 to 40a, at country stations. . Dairy prodnco is very weak, aud prices last quoted aro barely obtainable. Tho abovo pricea avo for delivery f.o.b. Lyttelton, with tho exception of potatoos.
