Mr Collins, late Secretary, declined to be nominated «3 Secretary m consequence of his intended removal from the district. Mr D. St. George was re elected Auditor. A meeting of the newly elected Committee was then held. Messrs Cameron, Clear, Jone3 and Molloy were appointed to revise the prizo schedule and report at next meeting. It was resolved that steps bo taken (0 offer prizes for tho growth of tobacco, and thnt the cat and poultry show be carried out on the samo line 3as thoso of last year. A discussion arose as to the admission of very large hoses with exhibits, t!io fixe ami irregular shape of which were found to be very inconvenient for arrangement at the show. It was resolved that no hoxe3 containing exhibits be of a larger size than ten inches square.
