DESTRUCTIVE FIRE.

(By Telegraph.) Invbbgabqilli, Sept. 16. Tho Three Horse-shoes Hotel, near Komoarty, East road, was burned to-day, with the bulk of its contents. No one was about tho premises but Mrs Brown, -wife of tha licensee. She wag washing, and hung somo sheets before the lire to dry, and went ■outside to continue her work. On returning ahe found the sheets, table, ond woll on fire. Two men who happened to pass put out tha firo to all appearances, and Mrs Brown then went on with her work. Shortly after the houso was again m flames, and as there was no one to assist, it was completely destroyed, the piano and a few other things only being caved. The insuranco oa tho building is £300, and on the furniture and stock £100, both m tho New Zealand office, which had reinsured half the risk on tho houso with the London and Lancashire. The loss is abont £100 above tho insurances.
