Waddington, the French Ambassador m London, that his Government will not consent to any departure from the present understanding concerning the New Hebrides. ABANDONED. The barque Crownthorpe, well known m tbe trade with the colonies, has been abandoned, having been dismasted during heavy weather. A portion of her crew has been saved and landed at Capetown. At the time of the disaster the Crownthorpe was bound from London to Brisbane.
