The barqnentine Ocean Ranger was putting out coals at the wharf yesterday. She is making but small progress. The barquontino Annie Bow was loading produoe for Sydney at the wharf yeste'day on aooount of Messrs Jonas and Bonrn. She will probably be finished off to-day. The b s Grafton will not call at this port on her trip sonth to-day. The first Union S.S. Co 'b steamer from Timnra to Dunedin will therefore be tho Mahinapua, whioh will sail next Tuesday. The Union Company's s.s. Mahinapna arrived from Dnnedin yesterday morning with a oargo of 85 tons of general merchandise. After discharging, she took on board about 130 tons of prodnco, and sailed m the evening for NeUon and way ports. _ Through not sufficient inducement offering, the Union S.S. Co. have taken their steamer Tekapo off the berth at Wellington for the proposed trip to Cambridge Gulf, but we understand that should sufficient applications for berths be made within the next month, thero is a likelihood of the boat being despatohed as originally intended. s (Bt Teleqeaph.)
