The Riots in America.
. ♦ (By Cable.) (Bbotbr's Agency.) COLLISION BETWEEN THE TROOPS AND THE RIOTERS. TWELVE POLICEMEN KILLED. [Beoeivod noon, May 7th.] New York, May 6. The labour riots continue to spread through the country, the latest outbreak having occurred at Milwaukee; Wisconsin, where a large number ol men assembled and proceeded tc threaten life and destroy property until tbe State militia was called out. A collision took place between the troopa and the rioters. The militia then firerj upon the crowd, killing and wounding a large number of persons. (Special to the Press Association.) ' IBeceivod 12.45 p.m., May. 7th.l London, May 6. Daring the riots in Chicago twelve policemen were killed and 100 anarchists disabled. (Beceived 7.45 p.m., May 7th.) A plot has been discovered in Chicago which had for its object the destruction of the city by fire. A large quantity of arms and dynamite has alsc been found.
