BIFLE MATCH.
♦ The return rido match between the C Battery, W Z. Hegiment of Artillery, and tlio ' Timaru Biflo Corps, took place on the rifle ' range yesterday. Owing to tlio fact that the ' targets were- surrounded with water, a result of tlio lato heavy rains, the competitors found it almost next to impossible to find their elevation, and the shooting consrquently was -,cry poor indeed. Tho C Battery hgiiih won, beating their comrades of the "gas pipo" by 85 pointß. Retails are as follow : —
