All Entries and Acceptances must be m sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary^ Emaru, and contain entrance money, Bweep* stakes, description, age and name of horse, and colors to bo worn by the Jockey, and must be m the hands of the Secretary, by 9 p.m. on above dates. No late letters or telfl" grams received after that hour. South Canterbury Jockey Club Eulea will be strictly adhered to. Haok Baces to be ridden m proper Jockey costume. In the «vent of a person entering a protest the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this Bum to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Five per cent will be deducted from the grosß of all moneys paid m accordance with, this programme, for expenses, and when not otherwise specified, all entries and acceptances to go to the funds. F.
