— . — ♦ ; . v. ■ . (By Teleobaph.) ■■ Dunedin, March 26. The only witness examined for the plaintiff to day m the case Stewart v. Roydhouse and another was Dr Prins.' The Attorney-General then opened the defence He said the ißsue was not whether Dr Stewart was guilty of manslaughter, "but whether defondantß m discussing the matter had made their comments reasonable and fair. The libel must be false and malicious, and he would ask tho Jury to say whether Mr Wakofield was guilty of any malice whatever m the case. Drs Coughtrey, Patrick, Mr Wakefield, Mr Beethatn, and Dr Nedwill gave evidence. Dr Nedwill will bo crossexamined to-morrow, and he is expected to be the last witness.
