COMMERCIAL BANK OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA. Adelaide, March 23. It is announced that legal action -will be taken against some of the Directors of the Commercial Bank of South Australia, for presenting to the shareholders a misleading balance-sheet for 1885, which failed to disclose the loss of eighty thousand pounds, incurred on pastoral properties held by the Bank, Wm. Crooks, manager of the Bank, has been admitted to bail. [Received 6 p.m., Maroh 24th.] THE ROTOMAHANA. Melbourne, March 24. Arrived — Eotomahana, from the Bluff. (Received 10.45 p.m., March 24th.) NEW SOUTH WALES LEGISLATURE. Sydney, March 24, In the Legislative Assembly to-day Sir Patrick Jennings made a ministerial statement and announced that the financial statement would be delivered on Friday week. The policy of the Government has not been divulged. HAWKESBURT AUTUMN HANDICAP. For the Hawkesbury Autumn Handicap, to be rnn on Saturday, April 17 th, 33 acceptances were received to-night.
