No entry will bo received for any of tho Races except upon this condition — That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of tho racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards, or those whom they may appoint ; their decision on all points connected with tho carrying out of this programme to be final. All Entries and Acceptances must bo m sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, Timaru, and contain entrance monoy, sweepatakes, description, age and name of horse, and colors to be worn by tho Jockey, and must bo m tho hands of the Secretary, by 9 p.m. on above dates. No late loiters or telegrams received after that hour. Bouth Canterbury Jockey Club Rules will bo Btrictly adhered to. Hack Races to be ridden m proper Jockey costume. In the event of a person entering a protest the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to bo forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious.
