» MORNING IN CAMP. " For at dawning to assail yo " Hearino buglo sounds ' Bovoillo.' " However true theso words may have beon of Boderick Dhu'a lonely isle, they cannot m any way be held to apply to the vicinity of Brown and William streets of late, and yesterday morning was no exception to the rue. Punctually at a quarter past five the beautiful notes of the well known call resounded through the clear morning air, and soon the camp was all astir. The men were not slow m performing their morning ablutions, and when at sis o'clock tbo buglo again suunded all were quickly m their places and m a few minutes busily engaged m drill. At seven the parade was dismissed, and tho breakfast cn'l immediately given. Tho morning meal disposed of, tho walls of tho tents were rolled up for ventilation and tho men dispersed to their ordinary avocations. EVENING IN OAMP. Tea as usual was Bcrved ut six m tho ovening, and en passant we may remark that perhaps no better proof of the efficiency of Mr McGuinness's catering can bo wishod for thnn tho fact that despite the daily solicitations of the Orderly Oilicer the men persistently decline to make any complaints whiUevei-. At Bovcn tho " fall m " was sounded, and nn hour nnd a half's smart drill was gone through. The detachments of tho Battery were alternately instructed m field gun drill by their respective No. J, tho remainder of tho men m camp being taken at company drill by Captain Mea;on, who handled them m a most masterly manner. About balf-pnst eight the parade was dismissed, a guard T.aa mounted and the CAMP FIRE. lighted. Spaco forbids us to narrate all tho good fun that went on around its cheery blaze. Suilico it to say that eomo excellent songs wero sung, the choruses being taken up m a spirited manner, and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Wo need hardly say that tho public mustorcd m greatforeo, and thoroughly appreciated tho (to many of them) novel form of entertainment. " Last post," and "Light 3 out" were sounded rather later than usual, but wero promptly obeyed. Today the usual parade will be hold ai six a.m., and m the evening the Battery will pamdu at seven oVlock m review order, for inspection, m gun drill by Lieut-Col. Bnilcy.

Lieutenant Bcgg will be Orderly Oflicer of the day. Wo are glad to note that tho men m camp aro not only working hard, but thoroughly enjoying themselves. Every man m camp does at least three hours' drill every day.
