(Jkeymottth, March 18. The attendance was not quite so large as yesterday, though yesterday's was a couple of hundred more than stated. The day was very successful. There was close racing and no accidents. Ht/rdle Hatoicap, of 35 sots ; 2 miles. Mr Oard's Royalty, lOst 1 Mr Cameron's Harkaway, 9st 81bs ... 2 Mr Carter's Prism, 9st 121 b 3 This was a good race, but it would probably have resulted differently if Cardinal had been kept on the course. Levant was scratched, having met with an accident the day before, by which one of his legs wn3 injured. Totalisator— £277 ; dividend, £6 4s 6d. Goldfibids Handicap, of 100 soys ; 1} miles. Mr Williams' Cardigan, 7st 13lbs ... 1 Mr Carter's Tramp, lOst 2 Mr Jones' Billy Croft, 6st 91b 3 A well contested raco, Cardigan surprising eren his admirers. Time— 3min 30sec. Totalisator— £3B6 ; dividend, £3 8s 6d. The Hack Haco Handicap fell through, the majority entered being trained horse 3. Obey Vaiibt Stakes Handicap, of BO boys; li mile. Mr Carter's Tramp, 9st 71b 1 Mr Williams' Cardigan, Bst 4lb ... ... 2 MrCrowley's Nor'weeter7st 101 b ... 3 Sir William, Barney, and Norfolk Lass also ran, but tho company wns too good for them. It was a very good race, b't Tramp out-paced his competitors easily. Timo - 2min 38seo. Totalisator— £222 ; dividend, £2 17s 6d. Bonotrotr Handicap, SOsovs; 1J mile. Mr Alexander's Duchess of .Albany, Bst ... 1 Mr Jones' Billy Croft, 7ft 121 b 2 Mr Card's Barnoy, Bat 41b 3 Daisy alao run, but sho was out of it after going three-quarters of a n-ilo. Tho Duchess won rather easily. Totalisator — £199 ; dividend, £1 17s Gd. Consolation Handicap, of 20 soys j 1 mile. Never Mind, 7st 1 Norfolk Las?, 7st 41b 2 Teacup, Burgundy, and Barney also ran. Xotalisator— £l77 j dhidond, £1 13s Id. A nurry Scurry Knee was run to make up for the Hack Race, which had fallen through. This was run m the dark, and was won by a nose by Never Mind. The ownor of Sir William entered a protest, on the ground that Never Mind ran inside a post.
