Mr Gladstone lias submitted to the Cabinet his proposals for the settlement of the Irish difficulty, but they have not yet been made public. It is reported, however, that they consist of a scheme for the expropriation of Irish landlords, at a cost of two hundred millions sterling, also the establishment o£ an Irisb Parliament m Dublin. The adjourned case against Richard and Walter Belt, charged with conspiracy to defraud Sir William Nevelle Abdy, of the sum of £5000 was concluded to-day.
