Tho weather was showery during the after part of tho day, but the attendance o£ tho public was fairly good. Tho principal events were as follows : — NTTKBEEY HANDICAP, for two-year-olds ; 7 furlongs. Mr Bloekwood's Aglaos ... ... ... 1 Mr Long's Crossfire ... ... ... 2 Minstrel 3 Autumn Handicap, for three-year-olds and upwards ; 1 mile and 5 furlongs. Mr Burnett's Lesbia ... ... ... 1 Mr Harper's Stodille 2 Mr Davies' Ditto 3 Leabia won easily. Champion Stakes for three year olds and upwards ; weight for age ; 3 miles. Hon. J. White's Matchlock, 3yra ... 1 Mr nenty's Cyclops, 3yrs ... ... 2 Mr O'Shannassy's First Prince ... ... 3 Five horses Btartod, Matchlock securing first place with a length to spare.
