DESTRUCTIVE FIRES.

♦ [Br Telegraph.] Nelson, March 6. Lnst night tho saw-mills, flour mille, hop kiln and a barn containing a throahing machine, etc., the property of Mr Drummond, and situate at Upper Moutero, were totally destroyed by fire. It is believed that the fire originated from the hop kiln. There were no insurances on tho property, and the losb, including hops, is estimated at £2000. Auckland, March 6. A house, tho property of Mr Suffert, of Wakofield street, was burned down at midnight. It was occupied by W. Pago, who was badly burned. Tho building was insnred m the Victoria Office for £130.
