Sir Patrick Jennings is encountering considerable difficulty m the formation of a Ministry, and has not yet been able to submit the names of his colleagues to His Excellency the Governor. Uooktown, Feb. 23. Nothing has yet been beard of the twelve persons who have been missing since the boat accident of the 16th mat., and it is considered certain they have all perished. The Legislative Assembly met to-day, but as Sir Patrick Jennings had' not completed the task of forming a new Ministry the House adjourned until tomorrow. Melbourne, Feb. 23. The b.s. Tarawera arrived from the Bluff this evening. She returns to New Zealand on Thursday. The enquiry into the striking of the s.s. Waihora, near Eddystone Point, will be opened to-morrow.
