TO THE EDITOR OF THE TJMARU HERALD. Sib, — I fear there is an obstacle m the way of many of the members of the country corps not being able to get to the parade on Thursday 25th. Where the hitch hinges is between employer and employee. It is bard for a man to have to fork out a day's pay under tho circumstances. Now some understanding should bo arrived at m this respect. Such valuable parades should bo taken advantage of by every Volunteer m South Canterbury, for it is at such parades men will learn and officers will learn.
