GENERAL CONDITIONS. Nominations for Handicap Hurdles, Cup and Easter Handicap, to bo lodged with tho Secretary on or beforo tbo 3rd of March ; Weights declared on the 15th March, and Acceptances on the 25th ; for Maiden and Mackenzio County Plate, on or before 25th March. A foe of five per cont on value of tho Stake to accompany each nomination. Owners and Nominators to be subscribers of ut least 1 soy to the Funds, except m the Hack Race. The District shall be from the South bank of tlie UivUaia to tho North bank of tho Wuitaki ; but the Hack Race and Mackenzie County Plate shall be confined to the Mackenzie County, and that part of the Mount Peel and Levels Districts bounded by the Opuha and Tengawai rivers to tho junction near the Point, also Clnyton and Sherwood Downs Estates. Horses to bo owned and m tho District two months prior to the date of meeting. The Kules of tlie Canterbury Jockey Club raced under when applicable. Any person entering a protest must deposit 1 soy with tho Secretary within twenty minutes after tho race is run beforo such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited should the Stewards consider tho protest frivolous or vexatious. No less than three Horses to start for each race, or only half the Stakes will bo given. Five per cent deducted from tho gross of all moneys paid m accordance with this Programme. All entries must be m sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary Fairlie Creek Racing Club, and accompanied by the qualification and Nomination Fee, also nge, pedigree, and colors to bo worn by theJockey.
