Ihe New Zealand Shipping Company's ship Rakain, which arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday morning from the Bluff, was ton-ed up tho Victoria ohnnnei m tho afternoon and grounded off Eavonsbourne. tfonr steamers attompted to got her off bnt failed, until today, when tho Kopntai and Plncky got hoioff and berthed her at the Dunoilin wharf at 2 p.m. Sho was very light, having only 700 tons of cargo.
