i great many being ladies. The racing was better than yesterday, and there were no accidents. The Hurdle Handicap Harkaway won, [though he baulked twice, being forced on 1 1 with a stock whip. He baulked at the stme • j part of the course as yetterdiy. Totalisator — £ 1 20 ; dividend £2 Is 6d. The Grey Valley dUkes (handicap), of 60 soys, 1} miles, were won easily by Cardigan, Billy Kmft second. Totali.ator — £313 ; , dividend £2 13s. The Hack Race Handicap was won by Mosb Hose, beating Little Grey, Jack and Clown. Totalisator-£222 j dividend £2 7s. The Brunner Stakes Handicap was a good race, and was won easily by Barney. Totalisator— £248 j dividend £5 14«. Time— 2min 66sec. Good Friday won the Consolation Handi- , cap easily. ' The Forced Handicap was won by Barney, j Furness, the' jockey hurt yesterday, wai still unconscious this morning, and it is supposed that his brain or spine is injured. i
