On Friday, Ist January, 1880, Now Year's Day, all Post-offices will bo olosed. Mails usually despatched on Friday will bo closed on Thursday at 8 p.m., and a delivory will bo made at the counter from 8 till 9 p.m. Tho Tolepraph Branch will be open between tho hours of 9 and 10 a.m. and 7 and 8 p.m. only.
